Hoping a box of specimens has reached him; wondering how he will use the specimens of earth--perhaps in an appendix to his work, in which case Pennant will send him "a new Catalogue from Sicily which elucidates the Jesuit's greatly"; describing some specimens; and saying he has not heard from his "Spaniard at Barcelona."
